Hello and welcome back to my fasting diary, week 2! As you may know, I’ve embarked on a 30-day fasting journey, and I’ve almost completed the first 10 days of my water fast. It was definitely challenging, but I’m feeling proud of myself for making it through.
Now, in this second week, I’m transitioning out of my water fast and into some re-feeding days. I’ll be slowly reintroducing solid foods to my diet to help my body adjust and prepare for the next phase of my fasting journey. After these re-feeding days, I’ll be incorporating more intermittent fasting into my routine in order to fast in tune with my menstrual cycle.
I’m excited to see how my body will respond to these changes and what kind of progress I’ll make as I continue on this fasting journey. As always, I’ll be sharing my experiences, thoughts, and tips along the way. So, join me on this journey and let’s see what the next week brings!
Fasting Diary – Day 8
It’s day 8 but today is when I officially complete 7 days of fasting! Originally this was my goal but I’m feeling good so will be continuing for 10 days. Nothing momentous to note other than having that colonic certainly helped my waist measurement shrink!

Fasting Diary – Day 9
Hey, Fasting Fam! It’s day 9 of my #FastingDiary and I’m still going strong! 💪
Today’s been pretty uneventful, but I did start my parasite cleanse, which has been… interesting, to say the least. 😅 My tummy’s been feeling a bit off, but nothing a little Diatomaceous earth couldn’t handle. And to treat myself, I hit up a fancy cafe for a cup of coffee – I may be fasting, but that doesn’t mean I can’t indulge in a little luxury! ☕️
Of course, I couldn’t help but drool over the Eggs Benedict at the table beside me. But hey, I stayed strong and resisted the temptation of Easter treats. No chocolate for this fasting warrior! 🍫
To keep things interesting, I did a detox bath with some bentonite clay and apple cider vinegar. It was like a spa day in my own bathroom! And now, I’m feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the last day of my 10-day fast. 🎉
Fasting Diary – Day 10
Nothing interesting to report! Tomorrow I’ll end my fast so I’ll update then!

After 11 days of fasting, I’m happy to report that I’ve completed my first extended fast in a while. I broke my fast this morning with a small meal of two poached eggs and a little bit of bacon. But before that, I tried to prep my stomach with a bit of aloe vera juice and a digestion kombucha shot.
The results? I lost exactly 7 kilos, which is about 15.4 pounds! Check out the images for the rest of my stats. Needless to say, I’m thrilled with the results.
Now comes the re-feeding phase, which I’ll be doing slowly to avoid any rebound weight gain. I had a small dinner of two chicken skewers and some cheese, for a total of around 500 calories mostly protein. So far, I feel good and haven’t had any issues.
As I’m fasting in rhythm with my menstrual cycle, I’ll be eating a protein-forward diet within an eating window up until ovulation. After that, I’ll likely do another multi-day fast. Stay tuned for more updates!
