Ketovorish is a website for people who want to improve their health and wellbeing by living a healthy lifestyle. I provide information about healthy eating and science-based nutrition strategies so that you can create a way of eating that is perfect for YOU.

The thing is, “diets” are a recipe for disaster especially if you consider that a diet is a short term program that you’ll follow for awhile and then ‘go back to normal’ – I want you to reframe what you think of when you hear ‘diet’ and just think of diet as the types of foods you choose to eat or WOE (way of eating)! Because of this, my food philosophy is very simple, yet effective.

My goal is to provide you with information that helps to keep you informed on the latest in nutrition and keep you inspired and motivated. I also share recipes, guides and other information and resources that will add value to your day to day life.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME…
I’m Tammy. Dark chocolate and coffee are my first loves (ok besides my kids).
Health is a close second.
I became passionate about wellness and the impact that diet and lifestyle have on physical health after having my first kiddo (I ended up with 5 of them!). I started studying Naturopathy when I was pregnant with my first and I haven’t stopped researching, investigating and learning since (and that little kiddo is about to turn 25 soon! YIKES). Over the years I earned my certifications in aromatherapy, flower remedies, therapeutic massage, bio-individual nutrition, health coaching and most recently became a certified keto and carnivore coach.
Ironically I focused all that learning on helping my children with their health issues and ignored my own. I’ve spent the majority of my life struggling with my weight despite being considered ‘healthy’ when I rocked up to the doctor for a check up – the truth was I followed the traditional nutrition advice and ended up overweight and with Type 2 Diabetes in the end.
Since switching to a healthy low carb diet filled with whole foods, my energy, clarity, weight and general health have drastically improved (I’ve reversed the Type 2 and am still a work in progress on the weight front – metabolic healing is a long road!).
I have effectively reduced inflammation, fatigue, skin issues, hormonal issues, and cravings. In short, my body feels GREAT.
I want these things for you too. That’s why I started this site.
I’m continually furthering my studies in nutrition and my mission is to help you to develop the daily habits and eating practices that will help you to:

- lose excess weight
- increase your physical and mental performance
- create a way of eating that serves your lifestyle
